Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the selection, enhancement, and maintenance of systems for processing systems
- Provide input to PCI compliance, auditing, and risk management functions
- Experience with maintaining and decommissioning legacy systems
- Optimizing business IT processes and business continuity plan
- Monitoring IT efficiency
- Assessing, monitoring and upgrading business systems and processes
- Liaising with vendors and 3rd parties
- IT security and governance as per Bangladesh Bank ICT Security guideline
- Develop policies for internal IT operations
- Manage and support the delivery of software and hardware operations and projects
- Enable process efficiency of back-office operations
- Drive innovation for front office or core business operations by recommending viable technologies
- Identify key skills and talent gaps in the IT Department
- Identify and manage external vendors in the delivery of contracted work
- Develop and maintain an appropriate IT organizational structure that supports the needs of the business.
- Establish IT departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development.
- Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management, core banking
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor/Masters in Computer Science and Engineering.
- Adequate knowledge in Networking, Data Structure, Data Science, Routing and Switching, Linux Server
- Professional Cyber Security certified
Work Experience:
- At least 8 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- The applicants should have experience in the following areas:
- IT management
- Infrastructure and applications
- Data warehousing, architecture and networking
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and technologies
- Minimum 8 years experience out of which 3 years as Head of IT Department in Banks or NBFls.
- Any other Certification in this field will be highly preferable
