Roles & Responsibilities:
- To maintain and compliance of all Occupational Health & Safety management systems.
- Develop and implement site-specific Occupational Health & Safety management initiatives.
- Implement requirements of the investor, contractor, and local regulations related to HSE.
- Conduct emergency drills such as Fire, Medical, and Oil Spillages Drills.
- Preparing for periodic and annual internal and external HSE audit.
- Organizing & conducting HSE training programmes and weekly project inspections.
- Compile datas for analysis from various site related to HSE performance.
- Advise all levels of staff regarding issues arising from risk assessments and investigations.
- Advise management on Occupational Health & Safety legislation and requirements.
- Carry out hazard identification/risk assessments.
- Conduct Tool Box talks.
- Ensure availability of first aid kits and fire extinguishers at all work place.
- Ensure all the lifting equipment, tools and tackles are inspected and checked.
- Ensure wearing of PPEs by all workers and staffs like helmets, goggles, glass, life jackets, safety shoes, safety belts, masks etc.
- Maintaining HSE manual, forms formats, registers & Safety records.
- Ensure safe operating instructions are available at working place.
- Inspecting construction equipment prior to starts work in site.
- Executing of safety rules while carrying out heavy lifting and erection, men & material transportation.
- Ensuring proper implementation of Electrical safety policy.
- Presenting safety files for monthly audits.
- Developing Site Fire safety Plan and overseeing implementation of the same as per the guidelines.
- Developing & updating the site Emergency plan.
- Guiding base personnel on the use of fire extinguishers and workplace safety.
- Monitoring that businesses comply with health and safety legislation in the workplace.
- Ensuring that health and safety requirements are met before and when workplace alterations are made or new equipment is installed.
- Educating and informing staff and managers on how to identify risks and set up preventative measures.
Educational Qualification:
- Having certificate of NEBOSH &IOSH from recognized Institution.
- Up to date knowledge on environmental and social rules and regulations as applicable by the local regulatory authorities.
- Knowledge in handling social conflicts.
Work Experience:
- At least 10 year(s)
