Roles & Responsibilities:
- Able to perform all essential Project Engineer responsibilities
- Attend and document project meetings (write minutes)
- Assist with preparation of CPM schedules
- Assist with updating and maintaining master CPM schedule
- Verify original estimate quantities for labor cost reports
- Cost code and/or verify correct codes on time sheets
- Manages Engineering participation in Health System projects involving clinical equipment.
- Evaluates alternative suppliers for equipment and supplies.
- Develops bid specifications for patient care technology
- Coordinates with Purchasing to identify requirements, and options, for post warranty service support.
- Assists with the development of disruption planning related medical equipment upgrades.
- Performs preventive maintenance and repairs when necessary to help meet department compliance needs.
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate degree, Masters or equivalent in Civil Engineering with an active professional background.
Work Experience:
- 17 to 20 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- Ability to effectively manage the project
- Registration as Construction Professional/Engineer/Architect with a recognized national/international board or institute and a Project Management Professional or similar certification from a recognized international body or institution is preferred
- Minimum of 17- 20 years progressive experience in all facets of facilities infrastructure projects including planning, design, construction and Programme Management
- He should have led teams on 2 (two) Programme Management Projects
- Proven team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationship.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Compile contract close out documents (O&M manuals, as-builts, etc.)
- Document punch list work
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned
- Should have knowledge about MEP System of health care industry.
