Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects of business operations;
  • Planning, coordinating and monitoring the work of employees involved in production, warehousing, pricing and distribution of goods;
  • Delivers the operating plan: the achievement of growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit, and return on investment for all the channels/categories of business and/or key customers.
  • Manage from concept, to design, sample production, testing, forecast, cost, mass production, promotion, support, and finally product end of life.
  • Keeping abreast of emerging technology changes and innovations and developing new products to accelerate the business with expected growth;
  • Making sure that business is being maintained in a safe condition and cost effective manner;
  • Ensuring that tasks operate in compliance with all legal requirements;
  • Reviewing financial statements and data to improve profitability;
  • Preparing and controlling budgets and inventories;
  • Formulating and implementing departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output;
  • Monitoring performance and implementing improvements;
  • Ensuring quality and quantity of products and improving employee productivity;
  • Managing customer support, planning and supporting sales and marketing activities;
  • Developing, implementing and managing strategic plans for operational activity with top management;
  • Ensuring utilization of factory capacity considering product mix, raw material availability to meet the marketing demands on time;
  • Performing such other duties and responsibilities whenever assigned by Superior authority time to time;
  • To manage the existing product line of the pharmaceutical organization, brand establishment and brand building and also new product launch. Providing training, product knowledge, direction to the field sales team to ensure that they are well equipped with scientific and communication skills both.
  • Has to work with cross-functional teams like medical affairs, learning and development team, R & D team (Research & Development) in the process.
  • Developing brand plans/strategies for the product range along with market penetration strategy along with market research and competitor analysis.
  • Motivating sales team members by organizing training camps, award ceremonies, and recognition programs. Product forecasting, New product pipeline strategy, new product pre-launch, and launch strategy and post-launch, new initiatives for product growth strategy.
  • 4P" strategy, the Product Management in Pharmaceutical Industry closely works and coordinates with all 4 Ps of the pharmaceutical industry which are product, price, people and place and ensure the brand gets established in the market and organization achieves its revenue with both top-line and bottom-line targets.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Pharmacy
  • Skills Required: Pharmaceuticals
