Roles & Responsibilities:
- Always adhere to and proactively promote the women-, girl- and survivor-centered support approach, and the GBV guiding principles;
- Conduct, prepare, and plan and organize group activities with women and adolescent girls in the designated space in the health facility in collaboration with health facility staff/focal point, with a focus on community mapping and group information sessions to provide multiple forum for sharing information of services available;
- Conduct service mapping, including quality assessment, of services available for women and girls in the area in order to provide accurate information and improve access to essential services for women and girls;
- Share with the women and girls information regarding the services available in the health facility (with a focus on Sexual and Reproductive Health- SRH- services) and relevant services in the area for women and girls (women’s safe spaces, MHPSS, GBV case management, nutrition, etc);
- Provide Psychosocial First Aid as and when required;
- Know, understand and use the formal GBV referral pathway; and –
- Work in close, daily collaboration with the health facility team to ensure women and girls have safe, discrete and confidential access to/from the GBV and health services via the internal referral procedures;
- Safely, confidentially, in-line with best practices, track all internal and external referrals conducted;
- Support the WPE Manager with providing GBV and WPE training and mentoring to:
- health facility staff on safe, appropriate and confidential referrals, survivor-centered support and other relevant aspects of GBV and WPE practice;
- health facility community outreach teams on available services and safe, appropriate and confidential referrals and other relevant areas;
- Assist with dignity kit or other material assistance distributions and appropriate messaging;
- Consult with women and adolescent girls in the health facility to identify their needs, interests and priorities, and working with the WPE Manager, identify ways to respond directly within the scope of this role or advocate to other actors;
- Support with the identification and referral of adolescent girls to specialized girls’ programming (Girl Shine), with support from the WPE Manager.

Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in any discipline
- Candidates with studies in psychology, gender or women’s studies, social work or other relevant/related studies, and /or professional experience in counseling and implementing activities for women and girls or proven engagement in women’s rights/groups – highly desirable;
Work Experience:
- At least 2 year(s)

- Demonstrated commitment to women and girl’s empowerment and protection through current/ previous volunteer or paid work in girls clubs or other relevant experience is an added advantage;
