Senior Project Officer – Communication with Communities

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth operations of all information centres and full function of all components in the information centre.
  • Ensure and supervise high quality of services at all information centres.
  • Efficiently address and provide quick solutions to trouble-shoot and questions.
  • Ensure referral pathways between all stakeholders are in place and beneficiaries are referred to appropriate services and agencies.
  • Organise regular group discussions in the information centres and facilitate discussions with different groups of beneficiaries.
  • Organise outreach activities, when required, to ensure that information centres become a known and trustable point for information and feedback in the community.
  • Ensure the information centres are closely working in collaboration with different programs of Action Against Hunger.
  • Identify opportunities to ensure engagement of population groups who are less accessible (eg. women, elderly groups).

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelors/Masters in Communication, Social Science, Development Studies or any relevant subject.

Work Experience:

  • 2 to 3 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Experience in the field of project management, information and communication.
  • Knowledge and experience in liaison with GoB and NGO counterparts and development partners; able to coordinate with appropriate stakeholders.
