Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensure fire hydrant system, fire drill & industrial evacuation plan when emergency.
- Fire detection system, fire equipment functional in basis of internal inspection.
- Conduct meeting regular basis of health & safety team regarding fire safety related issues
- To ensure the fire extinguishers are in their required positions. Conduct and/or monitor monthly inspections and tag sign-offs of each fire extinguisher correctly.
- Must need to maintain on-site personnel of the No Smoking policy and utilize best efforts to enforce it in factory premises.
- Occupational health & safety, injury related risk analysis.
- Investigation & corrective action plan.
- Emergency response team formation & plan execution.
- ACCORD & ALLIANCE standard implementation in all types of requirements for fire safety.
- Daily fire equipment check & maintain needful action
- Conduct all types of fire safety related training.
- Implementation fire safety requirement of customers and visitors in factory area.
- Discharge any work assigned by higher authority as and when required.
- Internal audit conduct & reporting to management comply the buyer COC,
- Face all kinds of audit & risk assessment all of the manpower & Machineries
- Maintain all compliance rules regulation & regularly report to authority
- Keeping close touch with Bangladesh fire service & civil defense.
- Responsible for complying with the buyers fire, health and safety requirements and legal obligation and for reporting defects and hazards that become aware of in the course of duties to senior management.
- Any Other assignment given by the management time to time.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in any discipline
- Minimum graduate & having Fire Science & Occupational Safety Course / Fire Safety Managerial Course from Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defense or related professional course in Fire & Safety would be added advantage.
Work Experience:
- At least 5 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- Age 30 to 40 years
- Only males are allowed to apply
- Preferred retired personal from Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense
- Should familiar with general sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, fire vehicle access requirements and hot work fire safety etc.
- Group of Companies, Garments, Textile
- Strong knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations
- Very good crisis management and problem solving skills
- Maintain NFPA 72, 10, 14, 20 Forms as per ACCORD/ALLIANCE standard
- Able to work under pressure
