SSC Development Officer

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Follow up social and environmental audit (corrective action plan) CAP and provide guidance to suppliers and production units to remediate identified non-compliant issues.
  • Drive capacity building and training programs for designated production units, which may include onsite visit, researching and identifying appropriate external training partners.
  • Work closely with senior development officer & SSC Manager to develop best practice reference materials, labor law profiles, and relevant internal document.
  • Work closely with hubs sourcing and merchandising team to leverage their support.
  • Work as a team to enhance and evolve SSC program to drive measurable improvements on the ground and process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Report any UN-ethical behavior at all times.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline

Work Experience:

  • At least 5 year(s)

  • Process a positive attitude, be willing to share knowledge.
  • Good report writing skills in English and relevant local language.
  • Having knowledge and experience in the manufacturing or apparel industry.
  • Self-motivated and able to execute plans and have strong work ethics to get the job done.
