Dispatch and Referral Unit (DRU) Officer

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Log all emergency requests, allocating categorization and prioritization codes.
  • Track requests to ensure emergency situations are responded to, keeping relevant parties updated on the status of their requests.
  • Communicate and liaise with relevant parties to ensure requests are promptly acted upon.
  • Escalate major incidents to the Emergency Coordinator- Health.
  • Maintain and update database of ambulance services, rescue teams, mobile medical teams and rapid response teams.
  • Liaise with hospital focal points and maintain a ‘live’ hospital bed management board.
  • Maintain MMT dispatch and ambulance dispatch board.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelors or Health related degree (Clinical Medicine, Public Health, Health Research, Emergency Medicine)

Work Experience:

  • At least 2 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • At least 2 years work experience in a Health Related Field.
