Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Based at Coxs Bazar the Human Resource Officer will be responsible to prepare job advertisement and job posting/publishing in the website/newspaper. Ensure recruitment policies and procedures are strictly followed throughout the whole recruitment process; gender and CP aspects are carefully reviewed and auctioned during the recruitment and selection process. Assist in hiring staff within the stipulated time frame in a cost effective ways. Ensure appropriate job offer and employment contract to the selection candidates following fixation of salary as per organizational policy, in consultation with ER-HR Manager/Director-HR director and ensuring internal equity as applicable. Coordinate with CO HR team to ensure that all new hire staff are under appropriate insurance coverage as per organizations policy. Prepare and manage short term/ casual and volunteer staff recruitment process and necessary documentation. Establish and maintain a robust system preserving and updating the personnel file for staff hired under response programme.

Educational Qualification:

  • Advanced university degree in Human Resource Management, Public or Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or another relevant field, or First University degree with additional years of related work experience or training/courses.

Others Requirements:

  • Ability to use the common MS Office applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook etc.) at intermediate level.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken communication in both English and Bangla
  • Prior experience of working in greater Chittagong Division and knowledge of Chittagong or Rohingya is a plus.
