Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Under the overall guidance and supervision of Site Engineer, the Construction Engineer will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Field based Site Supervision and management of Construction works for WFP.
  • Perform regular quality checks.
  • Conduct field assessments of sites and structures, produce design solutions and suggestions.
  • Produce concept, design and construction documents, drawings and briefs.
  • Measure amounts and produce Bills of Quantities.
  • Supervise and manage Contractors.
  • Lead and manage daily labourers.
  • Schedule and plan activities and works.
  • Operating out of Coxs Bazar, the Engineer will be involved in a variety of construction, planning and design works related to assistance projects for the Rohingya.

Educational Qualification:

  • Diploma or Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction, Planning or Design or other related field. Or relevant job experience.

Work Experience:

  • 2 to 3 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Excellent written and oral/communications skills in both English and Bangla
  • Languages: Fluency in oral Chittagonian/Pyongyang dialect highly desirable
