Roles & Responsibilities:

  • The Psychosocial Supervisor will supervise Psychosocial Focal Points in Child Protection, Health, and Nutrition Programmes in various locations and is responsible for technical quality of the work as well as ensuring team work, sharing and learning across locations.
  • S/he will ensure consistency in the psychosocial work across different locations, initiate and lead meetings for sharing and learning and continuous improvement of activities through the development and maintaining link with other MHPSS actors.
  • Quality reporting in time and develop and delivery training on mental Health and Psychosocial support, Psychological first aid will be the key areas of responsibilities.

Educational Qualification:

  • Masters Degree in Psychology/Sociology/Social Welfare.

Work Experience:

  • At least 5 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Experience of direct psychosocial support to vulnerable children and adults. Supervision and management experience.
  • Experience with developing technical material and conducting trainings. Experience with community-based work.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; good communication skills in English, Bengali. Chittagonian is highly desirable.
  • Solution oriented, collaborative, maturity in dealing with challenging work and complex team structures.
  • Willingness of frequent field travel and capability of working under pressure are also essential
