Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support Sr Technical Advisor with all advocacy efforts for training of family planning service providers including formation of taskforce, meeting planning, preparation and documentation.
- Participate in rapid assessment design and implementation for identifying training needs relevant to Family Planning services at a national level
- Assist with the analysis of the rapid assessment data and the strategic plan development for national training resulting from the findings
- Support NIPORT, DGFP, DGNM and DGHS to implement results of the rapid assessment
- Manage training officers with focus on talent development and performance management in order to build and maintain a highly effective team.
- Review existing family planning clinical training programs for strengths and limitations and alignment with global family planning technology and competency-based trainings
- Advocate for competency-based training and movement from didactic training to adult learning principles
- Lead strategic review to identify gaps in service delivery and trace the root causes to incorporate into the training curriculum
- Advocacy and lobbying with appropriate government officials for any required adaptations to training curriculum and approach
- Explore non-traditional learning platforms, such as eLearning, and incorporate as appropriate into the curriculum
- Working with technical expertise, support improvements to the MIS systems at NIPORT, DGFP, DGNM and DGHS
- Work with technical experts for developing digital platforms (e-learning, SMS, Tablet etc.) for in-service training of Family Planning service providers
- Work on tracking, feedback and updating mechanisms for the digital platforms
- Plan and conduct sensitization activities at different levels for popularizing and increasing utilization of the digital platforms
- Prepare technical documents, as required, on family planning
Educational Qualification:
- Medical degree required
- MPH preferred
- Clinical experience in family planning service is required.
