Roles & Responsibilities:

  • The Psychosocial Counsellor in the Nutrition, Health and Child Protection team has the responsibility for providing ongoing support to volunteers, CFS facilitators, GFS facilitators, MCHN promoters, community mobilizers.
  • Child protection, clinical and nutrition staff (including IYCF staff) to include psychosocial support in their work.
  • The role also includes facilitation group based psychosocial support for children, caregivers and community members, and for supporting the identification and referrals of children and caregivers with mental health related problems.

Educational Qualification:

  • Masters Degree in any relevant subject preferably Psychology/Sociology/Social Welfare. Considering experience educational qualification may relaxed

Work Experience:

  • At least 2 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge in child rights and child protection issues in Bangladesh
  • Experience in documenting, analyzing and summarizing qualitative data
  • Experience in providing/ facilitating training, meeting
  • Problem solving and decision making skill
  • Have good communication & networking skill
  • Has good working knowledge on using MS Office, and internet;
