Roles & Responsibilities:

  • The Medical Officer will be working in Save the Childrens 24-hour Primary Health Care Center located in Teknaf Upazila and will be responsible for providing quality, lifesaving care as per set protocols.
  • The role will have duties in the Outpatient department, In-patient department and Maternity Department for delivering lifesaving clinical activities at the health posts covering basic package of comprehensive services; communicable disease, non-communicable disease, child health including EPI, RH and MHPSS.
  • S/he will also be responsible for facilitating referrals of patients as well as managing and reporting all adverse reactions experienced in the clinic.
  • The incumbent will be also expected to support the line manager with supervision of clinical and non-clinical staff at triage, registration, vital signs, MUAC screening, consultations and pharmacy; capacity building and training of junior health, nutrition and community staff to ensure quality services.

Educational Qualification:

  • Medical Graduate (MBBS degree)

Work Experience:

  • 1 to 2 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience of clinical service is preferable
  • Sound knowledge on health and nutrition issues
  • Willingness to travel and work in the field areas.
  • Proficiency on computer using, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc.
