Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the Admin Team in the implementation of department objectives ensuring delivery of high quality support in line with the organizational and country local laws and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain regular coordination and provide support to department heads to fulfil the target of Annual Operating Plan (AOP), ERM and the strategic and business plan of HFHIB.
- Facilitate and lead the review of manpower requirements that will support the achievement of HFHIBs strategic and annual operating plans. In coordination with and guidance of the National Director, ensure that the right structure and systems are in place to achieve optimum results.
- Recruitment and Performance Management:
- Manage recruitment & onboarding of new staff and volunteer ensuring that candidates undergo the proper procedure and documentation requirements.
- Develop and implement the performance management system, including the facilitation of the annual job planning and performance appraisal. Work with managers and supervisors on managing performance and conflicts.
- Facilitate the employee separation process and provide analysis of data and information collected from exit interviews and separation process of separated staff.
- Plan, manage, coordinate and participate in staff development and capacity building activities in the National Office. Conduct training sessions as needed and requested.
- Ensure the completion of staff development plan(s).
- Lead HR activities and events that promote healthy employee relations & employee engagement and enhance employee morale & mission alignment.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage and administer the Compensation and Benefits program of HFHI-B including payroll management. Periodically review employee salary and benefits to maintain internal equity and competitiveness in the external labor market in coordination with AO HR. Recommend any improvements to the Senior Management Team.
- Verify payroll, coordinate with finance dept and share probable changes, to ensure payroll accuracy. Send quarterly payroll report to AO HR.
- Communication:
- Oversee administration and general affairs unit and facilities management and ensure the provision of excellent quality facility and healthy work environment to the staff members and visitors of HFHIB.
- In coordination with the National Director, liaise with various Government offices such as NGO Affairs Bureau, Home Ministry, and Immigration office, Special Branch of Police (SB), National Security Intelligence (NSI).
- Facilitate the application and submission of Project Proposals to the NGO Affairs Bureau resulting in timely approval and release of funds.
- Respond to other assignments assigned by the supervisor.
Educational Qualification:
- The ideal person should be a responsible, detail oriented, strategic thinker with Post Graduate degree in Human Resource Management from a recognized university;
Work Experience:
- 3 to 5 year(s)

- Excellent organizational skills;
- Advance skills in MS Office software;
- Excellent communication skills both in English & Bengali;
- High moral character with integrity and honesty;
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize job responsibilities;
- Experience and demonstrated skills in HR planning, policy development, learning, and budgeting;
- Experience dealing with Government officials
- Advance knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law;
- Willingness to travel periodically to field offices.
